Our mission is to provide new undergraduate students the information and activities needed to transition smoothly to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and to promote an on-going relationship between the families of all Carolina students and the University in support of their students’ success at Carolina.

Justin (he/him/his) is a native North Carolinian growing up just down the road in Oxford, NC. Justin received his B.S. in Business Administration from UNC Wilmington and his M. Ed. In Higher education Administration at NC State University. After two years working with the First Year Experience in Carolina Housing, Justin started his role here as the Associate Director working with family programming, communications, and student leadership. When not at UNC, you can find Justin hanging out with his cats, enjoying live music in the Triangle, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee.

Marcus Bullett was born and raised in a small town in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.  He is a graduate of VCU in Economics with a minor in Accounting.  He previously worked for UNC-Chapel Hill as an accounting tech and moved on to finance manager at NC State.  He is glad to return to UNC and working with New Student & Family Programs as a Business officer.  He enjoys the outdoors, exercise, family time, eating and cooking.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Seth (he/him/his) is a Tar Heel as well as a New Student & Family Programs alum. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2017 with a B.A. in History and Peace, War, & Defense. He received his M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Denver with specialties in higher education policy and college student affairs. With NSFP, Seth advises the WOW Board and works with board members to organize Weeks of Welcome (WOW) and related events. He also arranges our assessment strategies to make programs, engagement, and learning better for students and campus partners.

Christy Carral (she, her, hers) grew up Miami, Florida, but recently moved from New Orleans to work at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a double alumna of Florida International University (FIU) where she earned her B.A in English, as well as her M.A. in Higher Education Administration with an Academic Advising Certificate. Her previous experiences include orientation, housing, first year programs, Greek life, and supporting marginalized students. She is passionate about making education accessible and helping others feel welcomed and celebrated. In her spare time, Christy enjoys participating in or attending performance arts events, all things coffee, puppies, and bookshops, in addition to celebrating her identity as a Latina.

Ian Reynolds (he/him/his) was born and raised in Pennsylvania where he also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Marywood University as well as his Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After more than twelve years across various roles in Residence Life, Ian is excited to welcome all incoming students to UNC-Chapel Hill. Ian enjoys making memories with his family whenever possible and is an avid fan and supporter of the Buffalo Bills, Tottenham Hotspurs and US Men’s and Women’s national soccer teams, along with cheering for all teams Tar Heel!

Jenny (she/her/hers) is a Native North Carolinian, born and raised in Winston-Salem. She is a proud UNC Charlotte and Appalachian State alumna, having earned her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Higher Education. After many years with UNC Family Medicine, Jenny is excited to join the NSFP team in her role as the Office Manager. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys attending local sporting events, fly fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains, exploring new local restaurants, and spending time with family/friends.

Rosemary Roberts (she/her/hers) is a native North Carolinian, born and raised in Greenville. She is also a proud UNC-Chapel Hill alumna, having earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in photography, along with a minor in Italian Language in 2009. She is excited to be back on campus and looks forward to working behind the scenes to advance programs and ensure students have a great Carolina experience! On the weekends you can find her painting, hiking or fly fishing in the NC mountains with her husband.
