WOW (Weeks of Welcome are Underway!

WOW, are we glad to have Tar Heels back on campus! Our WOW Board has been working hard to curate Weeks of Welcome (Friday, August 16 to Sunday, September 1) currently underway. From the moment students arrive on-campus, they'll be able to attend several WOW events that make this place feel more like home. From meeting professors to making friends, from exploring campus to navigating Chapel Hill, and from free food to free gear, there's something at WOW for every student. 

Students, stay up-to-date on WOW events by exploring Heel Life, at  go.unc.edu/wow, our go-to site for events, organizations, and involvement at UNC, where WOW events are posted and you'll be able to RSVP and save events that interest you so you don't miss them during WOW. A special event series this year is Common Pods: Making It. Our students on the WOW Board compiled some podcasts, videos, and media to help you see what "making it" can look like both at UNC and in the world, and they're based on topics of interest from arts to entrepreneurship to wellness. It's a choose-your-own adventure series and each special topic has a dedicated event at WOW as a way to meet other students interested in those topics at.
