New Student & Family Programs is excited to announce that Carolina Family Weekend 2020 will take place Friday, September 25 - Sunday, September 27, in conjunction with the Carolina vs. Georgia Tech football game. We recognize that this date is adjacent to Yom Kippur, which begins at sunset on Sunday, September 27. We are working in partnership with North Carolina Hillel to ensure that all families are able to observe locally and/or participate in the weekend and travel home to observe.
Please note, in light of COVID-19 News Student and Family Orientation will be a remote virtual experience, more details will be available within the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times.
UNC Summer Send-Offs, sponsored by New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) and the General Alumni Association (GAA), are informal UNC gatherings that are hosted in various regional areas across the state, the country and abroad, specifically designed for new students and family members to meet other Carolina students, alumni, University representatives, and other family members from their local areas.
Welcome to the Campus Resource Features page! We partner with these offices and programs at orientation and want you to get to know them better. Browse through the features below to learn more, ask questions, and meet some members of the Carolina community!
