Application Opportunities and Timelines
Applications for Orientation Leaders (OLs) and WOW (Weeks of Welcome) Board Members for 2027 will remain open on a rolling basis until positions are filled adequately. Descriptions are linked below.
Once applications are open, they will be considered on priority timelines. Review below for more details:

- Priority Deadline – will be about three weeks after the application opens (10/18/26 this year)
- Rolling Review – will remain open until all positions are filled
Applications for Project Coordinators occur on a rolling basis based on the availability of positions during the academic year and summer. Contact newstudents@unc.edu for more information and position availability.
Job Descriptions and Eligibility
In order to be an NSFP Student Leader, you must…
- be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at UNC-Chapel Hill.
- have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- remain in good disciplinary standing with the University.
- be available to attend NSFP Student Leader Retreat, All-Staff Meetings, and position-specific meetings. The dates for required meetings will be provided at a later point, with a current projection available in the position descriptions below.
