Join us for High Fives for Heels, a collaboration between New Student & Family Programs, The Carolina Parents Council and dedicated Carolina Family volunteers. As the mid-terms and finals approach, students could use some extra love and support. That’s where you come in!
Carolina family members are invited to campus to share high-fives, fist bumps, and words of encouragement with hardworking students. Even if you can’t join us in person, you can still contribute by providing study fuel in the form of snacks, drinks, and supplies for students. Let’s rally together to lift their spirits as they prepare for the most academically stressful times of the semester. We believe that knowing they have a supportive Carolina Family community behind them can make all the difference during this difficult time.
Additionally, we’ll be sharing valuable campus resources for health and wellness. Be a part of this fun event and show students that they’re not alone—we’re all in this together!

Other Ways to Support as a Carolina Family
The Carolina Parents Fund
The Carolina Parents Fund As one of the country’s premier universities, Carolina continues to regard parent and family support as a crucial piece of student success. Your gift allows our office and Student Affairs to provide a number of resources and opportunities to our students and families that foster student success and learning.
The Heels Care Network
The Heels Care Network is an integrated health and well-being response effort designed to reinforce Carolina’s long-term commitment to the overall mental health of our campus.
This initiative brings together what we hear from our students. They need on-demand, collaborative, cross-campus health, well-being, and resilience support that coordinates existing resources with creative new approaches, ultimately leading to a culture of compassion and care.
